Chile Travel Visa Requirements

Chile Tourist Visas Info

Most travelers, including citizens of the United States, Australia, Canada, and the European Union, do not need a tourist visa to enter Chile. Citizens of India need to apply for a tourist visa at their nearest consulate. All travelers will receive a tourist card valid up to 90 days; keep this card with your passport. A reciprocity fee is charged to citizens of Australia, Canada and Mexico at Santiago's international airport. The reciprocity fee is payable in US Dollars or credit card.

As of November 2014, the Chilean Reciprocity Tax charges according to the following rates:

Nationality Tax Validity
Australians US $ 95 90 Days
Canadians US $ 132 Life of Passport
Mexico US $ 32 Life of Passport
United States US $ 0  --
