Arrival in Buenos Aires & City Tour

Day 1

Arrive in Buenos Aires and meet your tour guide, who will transfer you to your hotel. Later, set off on a guided Buenos Aires city tour. Visit historical landmarks such as Casa Rosada and the Plaza de Mayo where the 25 May 1810 Revolution took place. With your free time, relax in a bar or restaurant in Puerto Madero. If you arrive on a Sunday, stop off at the San Telmo Antique market to shop for unique items and people-watch.

Tigre Delta & Tango Show

Day 2

Visit the Tigre Delta, a relaxing getaway from the city and a way to escape the heat during the summers. Venture into this area of verdant landscapes and zigzagging rivers located just a few miles from Buenos Aires city.
In the evening, enjoy a 3-course steak dinner (vegetarian options available) and Tango Dance Show, an authentic porteño-style dinner show complete with wine and live music.

Arrival in Puerto Iguazú & Brazilian Falls

Day 3

After breakfast in the hotel, a driver will take you to the airport for the flight to Puerto Iguazu. Look out the windows while flying over the Iguassu Falls to see these impressive waterfalls from above. Once at the airport, your guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel.
Your first introduction to this Natural Wonder of the World begins at the Brazilian side of the national park. Enjoy a guided visit of Brazil's Iguaçu National Park. After checking out the exhibits at the visitors center, take a bus ride to visit various vantage points that will reward you with a panoramic view of the falls. An elevator up to a lookout platform provides a bird's eye view of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The most stunning waterfall is the Devil's Throat, which spans a 2,700 semi-circle that gushes over a height of 72 meters.

Day 4

This morning, eat breakfast at the hotel and then head to the Iguazu National Park for a full day tour of Iguazu Falls. On the Argentine side of the falls, you can see the Garganta do Diabo, the “Devil's Throat.” On the Brazilian side, you can walk out over the water on catwalks at the base of the falls. You can also opt for the Macuco Safari to see the falls up close - you'll even get a little wet when the boat approaches the mist under the falls!

Travel through the Atlantic Rainforest

Day 5

This morning, after breakfast in your Iguazu hotel, travel to Curitiba through the Atlantic Rainforest. The route is incredibly scenic: you'll see rolling green mountains, fertile farmlands, and a subtropical forest with unique Araucária trees. Check in to your hotel in Curitiba.

Day 6

Take a full-day tour of Curitiba, Morretes, and Antonina in the Serra do Mar region. Start off in the morning to visit Curitiba’s highlights, passing the Tiradentes Square, the Guaira Theater, and the Museum of Oscar Niemeyer. Stop to visit the Wire Opera House, Tangua Park, Tingui Park and the Botanical Garden. Also, visit Antonina, a lovely and historic port town.
Then transfer to Morretes and have a delicious lunch by the river. Take some free time to explore this quiet colonial town. The lunch (included) is a typical barreado, with slow-boiled beef and seafood. Return to Curitiba via a tourist class 3-hour train ride through the Serra do Mar. The route, built in the late 19th century, crosses through lush rainforest, mountains, and bridges.

Day 7

Fly into the domestic São Paulo airport and head out to explore the largest city in Brazil. Go on a guided city tour and visit the historical district and its landmarks such as Paulista Avenue, the Liberdade Japanese district, the Sé CathedralPatio do Colégio where São Paulo was founded by the Jesuits, and the financial district of São Paulo with its Art Deco and neo-baroque architecture.

Transfer to Rio de Janeiro & Corcovado Mountain

Day 8

Wake up early to take in the hustle and bustle of São Paulo before heading to the airport to fly to Rio de Janeiro, the "Marvelous City."
Begin with a tour of the Tijuca Forest and the Corcovado Mountain, from where the famous Christ the Redeemer Statue overlooks the city and the bay. This imposing statue, built in 1922, has been declared one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Sugar Loaf, Historic Rio & BBQ Dinner

Day 9

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will take you on a Rio de Janeiro city tour, including a trip to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain. Visit historical landmarks and golden beaches, and then take the cable car gondola ride to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, a granite peak overlooking Guanabara Bay. Enjoy panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro's curvy coastline and forests.
In the afternoon, relax at your hotel or on the beaches of Copacabana & Ipanema. Finish off your day with a delicious barbecue at Churrascaría Palace, which offers an all-you-can-eat service.

Day 10

This afternoon, depart for home or your next South American destination. This 10-day tour of the highlights of Brazil and Argentina is easily customizable.
